Q: What shall I wear?
A: Something comfortable that you can move and stretch in. Socks are required for ALL classes. You can purchase your barre and pilates socks in studio, through our online store here, or you are welcome to bring your own. We have a changing room in studio for you to dress and store your belongings.
Q: I am recovering from an injury, can I still participate in class?
A: Whilst we take injury very seriously, in most situations we can confidently make modifications for you so you can participate in class comfortably. Depending on your unique situation, we may require an exercise clearance letter from your general practitioner. If you are unsure or have any questions, please send us an email or speak to us in studio. We are also happy to refer our clients to our affiliated physiotherapists conveniently located in Ponsonby.
Q: Can I put my class pass on hold?
A: We understand that life is busy, and sometimes it is not possible to use all your class passes before the expiration date. You are able to put one “freeze” on your pass (for up to two weeks) so you can enjoy your holiday or recover from illness without losing your pass. This excludes introductory offers and single classes.
Q: Can I pay for my class in studio?
A: As we are a small studio with limited spaces we require online booking and payment to be made via MindBody or direct bank transfer prior to arriving for class. Unfortunately, we do not currently accept EFTPOS or cash payment. If you wish to pay for your class via bank transfer, please email us email@example.com
Q: I am pregnant. Can I still participate in class?
A: Congratulations! During your first trimester, you can typically participate in any of our classes as normal providing you are feeling healthy and well. Once you reach your second trimester, we will need to start making some modifications and adjustments, therefore attending private reformer classes or our specialty pregnancy classes is advised. Rest assured Catie is qualified to work with pre-and post-natal clients. Six-eight weeks following a normal vaginal delivery, we invite you and baby to attend our baby-friendly postnatal classes. If your baby was delivered through a caesarean section, we will require an exercise clearance letter from your midwife or GP prior to commencing class. If you have any questions, please contact us. Q: Is there parking available?
A: There is plenty of street parking available around the studio. We recommend allowing 10-15 minutes of time prior to class to find a parking space and to give yourself time to settle into class.
Q: I can no longer make it to class. What is your cancellation policy?
A: As we have very limited spaces in class, as a courtesy to other clients you must cancel your class 12 hours before commencing to avoid paying the full class fee. Cancellations before 12 hours will be 100% refunded back to your MindBody account.
